CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Barro Negro is not microwave or dishwasher safe. Always hand-wash with mild detergent. Do not expose clay to sudden temperature changes to prevent cracking.
The barro negro clay is baked at low temperatures and unglazed, which makes it prone to absorbing some odors. Wash several times before first use to eliminate debris from the oven. If you find the smell persists, artisans recommend soaking it overnight in warm water or milk and/or placing it in an airtight container covered in coffee beans.
